The Vietnamese Boat People Memorial Association (VBPMA) was formed on July 16, 2016 to replace “The Advocacy Team”/VBPMM.
Its mandates are – on behalf of the Vietnamese Canadian community in the GTA and vicinity – to do the fund raising and to carry out the construction of the monument at 3650 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
VBPMA is the only organization officially recognized by the City of Mississauga and the Vietnamese Canadian Community in the GTA to carry out its mandates.
